Ava Protocol’s Mainnet Goes Live on Ethereum Blockchain

Ava Protocol, a prominent Web3 infrastructure initiative, has rolled out its mainnet on Ethereum (ETH), unveiling a fresh system for automating smart contract transactions, as per recent details disclosed to Finbold on July 16.

This new advancement enables developers to leverage Ava Protocol’s transaction automation, privacy attributes, composability, and other functionalities within their decentralized applications (dApps) across the Ethereum ecosystem.

Ava Protocol’s activation model is reshaping on-chain operations with autonomous “super-transactions” triggered by specific events like time, price alterations, or smart contract updates.

By simplifying automation processes, it diminishes technical hurdles for developers and enhances user interaction. Developers can now depend on automated transactions without the necessity for custom code, streamlining the development phase.

Chris Li, Ava Protocol’s Founder, expressed his excitement for the launch, emphasizing the significance of unlocking new use cases for autonomous transactions that power smart contracts. He highlighted the versatility of EigenLayer’s AVS technology in tackling critical web3 automation challenges.

The mainnet launch as an Actively Validated Service (AVS) on EigenLayer signifies a new chapter for Ava Protocol, as AVSs are not constrained by the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) limitations.

Ava Protocol offers robust on-chain automation with dependable execution for time-sensitive and multi-step transactions, incorporating features like scheduled payments, stop-loss and limit orders, streaming rewards, and dynamic non-fungible token (NFT) minting.

Alex from EigenYields, a prominent operator, emphasized the immense potential of Ava Protocol’s automated super-transactions and the importance of providing a secure foundation for this innovative technology to advance the Ethereum ecosystem.

Sam Shev, Ava Protocol’s Head of Marketing, expressed excitement about introducing Ava Protocol’s technology to a live environment and the community’s potential to innovate using super-transactions. He acknowledged EigenLayer operators for their crucial role in establishing a strong foundation for Ava Protocol.

This mainnet launch comes after a successful testnet phase, witnessing 10,000 wallet participants and over 1,000 automated transactions daily. Ava Protocol stands among the initial 15 projects to launch an AVS, leveraging pooled security from Ethereum validators through EigenLayer’s innovative restaking mechanism.

The protocol is commencing with support from 20 top EigenLayer operators, including EigenYields, InfraSingularity, Kukis Global, Coinage, and Staking4All. Ava Protocol intends to unveil a comprehensive AP token incentive plan for initial operators in the near future.
