Ethereum’s DMarket Drives Surge in NFT Sales
On August 11, DMarket emerged as the frontrunner in the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) market, achieving a remarkable sales performance of US$733,528, as reported by CryptoSlam data. The collection, based on Mythos, has accumulated an all-time sales volume of US$485.22 million, positioning it as the 14th largest in the industry. DMarket stands out as an NFT collection that showcases in-game items from popular games such as Counter-Strike and Dota 2.
Following closely behind was the Guild of Guardians Heroes collection on the Immutable blockchain, another NFT collection centered around gaming. This collection secured the second spot for the day with a daily sales volume of US$531,721, showing a slight decline from the previous day’s US$591,119. Kgirl, a collection based on Polygon, claimed the third position with daily sales reaching US$475,659.
The Solana NFTs made their mark in the market, with DeGods and the DogeZuki Collection securing the fourth and fifth spots, respectively. DeGods garnered US$332,921 in sales, while the DogeZuki Collection achieved sales of US$311,838.
Despite DMarket’s dominance in the market, Mythos did not lead in blockchain sales. Ethereum emerged as the top blockchain on that Sunday, recording sales of US$2.7 million, followed closely by Solana with US$1.94 million. Interestingly, in a recent development last Thursday, Mythos outperformed all blockchains, with DMarket alone surpassing the Ethereum network in sales.
