Hong Kong-based crypto giant Metalpha has made a significant move by depositing $77.55 million worth of Ethereum to Binance, as reported by digital asset tracker Lookonchain. The deposit consisted of 33,589 ETH sent over multiple transactions, with a notable 10,000 ETH worth $23.45 million transferred on a Monday.
According to Lookonchain, Metalpha still retains a substantial amount of Ethereum, holding 51,300 ETH valued at $120 million. The tracker also highlights the trend of Ethereum whales accumulating more assets, with one particular whale making profitable trades of 5,000 ETH at strategic price points, resulting in significant gains.
Ethereum is currently trading at $2,378, showing a 1.5% increase over the past 24 hours. Additionally, Lookonchain’s data reveals that a Solana whale recently sold 20,000 SOL worth $2.66 million, bringing their total sales for the year to 715,000 SOL valued at $102 million. The whale still has 1.84 million SOL staked, amounting to $246 million.
