**Biggest News:**

**Eve Frontier on Ethereum:** CCP Games, the creator of Eve Online, recently announced that its upcoming survival blockchain game, previously known as Project Awakening, will now be called Eve Frontier. This game will be developed within the Ethereum ecosystem and will feature multiple crypto tokens issued using the ERC-20 token standard. The game is being built on Redstone, an Ethereum layer-2 network designed for on-chain, autonomous game worlds. The next closed beta test for Eve Frontier is set to begin later this month.

**Hamster Kombat + Catizen Binance Giveaways:** Hamster Kombat, a popular tap-to-earn game on Telegram, revealed that it will have a total token supply of 100 billion. Additionally, billions of tokens will be distributed to Binance customers participating in a Launchpool rewards campaign. Users in eligible countries can stake Binance Coin and FDUSD stablecoin to earn a share of HMSTR tokens during the weeklong campaign, running from September 19 to September 26.

The following day, Catizen announced a similar giveaway, with 90 million tokens up for grabs in a Binance Launchpool campaign from September 16-19. Players will have the option to send these tokens to a centralized exchange account once the token is generated on September 20.

**Deadrop Dev Layoffs:** Midnight Society, the studio behind the game Deadrop, recently laid off a significant portion of its workforce. This move comes after the studio terminated its relationship with Dr. Disrespect, a popular video game streamer and co-founder of the studio, just three months prior.

Dr. Disrespect returned to streaming with a YouTube video titled “The Truth,” where he addressed allegations of inappropriate messaging with a minor, which led to his removal from Midnight Society.
